It all began in a northern New Jersey town, back in 1986. A busy musician found himself lugging expensive, delicate gear back and forth to gigs in New York City.
Tired of damaging his equipment and in desperate need of protection, the musician rented a sewing machine, purchased some fabric and in a small one-bedroom apartment, made a cover. Without knowing it or planning it, this was the beginning of Tuki Covers.
The motivation kept growing as the soon-to-be entrepreneur saw many other musicians with the same practical need. Realizing that Hard Road Cases were too expensive, heavy, and bulky, the future owner of Tuki Covers thought that a heavy-duty, padded, protective cover seemed like the next best thing.
Tuki Covers began with a vision from one musician still devoted to his first love, MUSIC. This enterprise erupted into a huge success and will be celebrating it's 20th year in business come 2006. Some of the very first customers still order today and are currently gigging with their original covers.
Tuki Covers has expanded into a 5,000 square foot facility where each and every cover is Made with Pride in the USA. The company celebrates detailed craftsmanship, dedication, true one-on-one customer contact and a guarantee that all covers will meet every customer's expectation. Once you are a Tuki customer, you'll see why so many customers keep coming back.
